A Level 1 Electrical Service Provider (L1) is specifically involved in the installation and maintenance of the high voltage electrical infrastructure.

Level 2 Service Provider
A Level 2 Electrical Service Provider (L2) are licensed and accredited electricians who are authorized to work on the electrical network that connects homes and businesses to the main power grid. Typically this is the connection from the power poles or Underground pits to the consumer's switchboard for both domestic & business properties.

Level 3 Service Provider
A Level 3 Electrical Service Provider (L3) refers to a specialist who is authorized to design electrical distribution networks. These providers are responsible for creating plans and designs for new electrical connections, including substations, underground and overhead power lines, and other significant infrastructure within the electricity distribution network.
